The Scheme Rules contain important information that every member and potential member should know before choosing a medical aid option.  The information includes benefits payable to members by the Scheme in each benefit option and other crucial information such as exclusions, co-payments, etc.  These Rules are amended from time to time and registered by the Council for Medical Schemes where after they are binding on the Scheme, the members, officers  and on any person who claims any benefit under these rules, and so it is important that everyone understands the contents thereof.
